Lucas Grabeel

Since arriving in Hollywood, Lucas has quickly established himself as one of the most talented and popular young actors in entertainment today. Within a few months of moving to California from his native Missouri, Lucas signed with an experienced management group and was cast in a Disney Channel original movie. Since then, his career has continued to take off.

Lucas Grabeel is one of the stars of Disney’s record-breaking and award-winning High School Musical movies, where he plays the role of Ryan Evans.  He will soon begin work on High School Musical 3, the third installment in the series, which is slated for a theatrical release by Disney in 2008.

In The Adventures of Food Boy Lucas demonstrates that his acting talents extend well beyond the movies he has done thus far. He brings a great sense of vulnerability and comedic timing to The Adventures of Food Boy that is sure to entertain audiences.

Lucas will soon appear as a lead in the movie Lock and Roll Forever (from the producers of High School Musical). Lucas starred in the independent feature Alice Upside Down, based on the popular Alison book series, with Alyson Stoner, Luke Perry and Penny Marshall. Lucas also starred in the Disney Channel’s Halloweentown High and Return to Halloweentown.  He has had recent guest appearances in Smallville (as young Lex Luthor), Veronica Mars and Boston Legal.

In addition to his acting talents, Lucas is also a very talented musician. He toured internationally and throughout the U.S. with the original cast of High School Musical—The Live Tour, including playing at a packed soccer stadium in Buenos Aires, Argentina to a crowd of over 60,000 fans. At one point in 2006, three of the top ten downloads on iTunes were songs from Lucas off of the soundtrack for High School Musical.  A music video of his hit song “You Got It” which plays in the background in High School Musical 2, was released on iTunes in November 2007.
