Ryne Sanborn Ryne is known to audiences as the talented, but sometimes clueless, basketball player Jason Cross in Disney’s hit High School Musical movies where he starred with Food Boy co-star Lucas Grabeel. Ryne is set to start work shortly on High School Musical 3, that is slated for a theatrical release by Disney in 2008. In The Adventures of Food Boy, Ryne plays the part of Mike—a typical student at Timpview High School who is impacted and influenced by Ezra’s (Lucas Grabeel) food powers. Ryne is from Salt Lake City, Utah, and prior to his appearances in the High School Musical movies, he had appeared in the TV shows Touched By An Angel and Everwood. Ryne was also the “Child of Light” in the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2002 Winter Olympics. |
